One on One Fishing Electronics Workshop in YOUR boat learning to read and use YOUR equipment!
This is a one on one lesson where I come out with you in your boat and teach you how to effectively use your fishing electronics to their full potential. I personally use Humminbird electronics, but know my way around Lowrance and Garmin units very well and can provide this service for all of those three brands. These are 4 hour lessons and can be custom built to focus on all of the points below, or just ones that you desire.
Learn to read sonar and down imaging
Learn to know what your looking at using sonar and down imaging. Learning to understand what fish and structure looks like will help you catch more fish! We will go over, in precise detail, what fish, rocks, weeds, transitions and many other types of structure look like on both sonar and down imaging. Understanding how to read sonar and down imaging will help you find, stay on, and catch more fish.
Learn to read side imaging
Side Imaging is the number one tool I use everyday on the water to find structure and fish. The ability to see what is on each side of you and how far away it is keeps you one step ahead. We will go over not only how to find fish and structure using side imaging, but how to stay on the fish or structure with your boat using it. We will use underwater cameras to show you exactly what you are looking at so that you can use this technology to put more fish in your boat.
Learn to read contour maps and waypoint managment
Contour maps can really key you in to productive fishing areas. I am always using maps to work structure correctly as well as find good areas to fish. I will teach you everything you need to know about reading contour maps. We will also go over basic spots to look for when targeting certain species. Included with how to read these maps is everything you need to know about waypoints. I will teach you ways to use waypoints to mark spots, mark fish, mark hazards and so much more. We will also go over waypoint management which is an important part of using maps to their full potential.
learn good Boat control
Now you have found fish using your electronics and are confident in the area you want to fish. Without the proper boat control all of this information you just learned can be useless. Here I will teach you proper boat control in many different situations (weed edges, rock piles, transitions ect.)  This can really be the difference between catching a couple fish off each spot, or catching a lot of fish.
